Vehicle Description The revolutionary Ford Mustang caused a sensation when it went on sale April 17, 1964, as a 1965 model.
All three body styles:
coupe, convertible, and fastback wowed onlookers, but the sporty coupes were the top sellers.
Almost sixty years later, first-generation Mustang coupes are still universally admired and sought by collectors.
Fuel Required is proud to present this new addition to the Pittsburgh showroom.
This iconic 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe is powered by Ford's legendary 289 cubic inch small-block V-8.
and this example is backed by the 3-speed C4 automatic transmission.
The first-generation Mustang featured an independent front suspension with upper A-arms, coil springs, lower strut-stabilized control arms and tubular shocks.
The solid rear axle featured leaf springs and tubular shocks.
The beautiful coupe has the optional GT package and is finished in dark green paint which shows very well and complements the black interior.
Originally a California car, it remains extremely solid and received only a cosmetic restoration.
Vintage Air conditioning and dual exhaust were also added.
The odometer reads 50,739 miles and has been professionally maintained under its current ownership.

Don't Be Fooled

  • When selling, do not put your home address in your ad.
  • To avoid scams, buy and sell with people you can meet locally, in person.
  • When meeting with someone you don't know, meet in a public place. If that's not possible, have a buddy with you. Also, carry a cell phone; if you feel unsafe, you can call a trusted friend, and stay on the line.
  • Never give out financial or private information like account numbers, PayPal login, or social security number.
  • If an offer sounds too good to be true, it is. Walk away!
